IF - Worn

This weeks word made me think of the worn blankets and bears kids carry around with them for years. My son won't go anywhere without his bear. Then I was reminded of a story I read call Corduroy by Don Freeman, which resulted in the image above. I had hoped to color it, but again I'll just have to settle for the finished drawing. I do plan to paint this in the near future.

I loved Corduroy! I would have to say that my childhood copy is well-worn too. :) Love the drawing; can't wait to see it painted!
