OH, I love this image, even if I am catching it a bit late. It really warms the heart and the little girl character is very sweet. Would love to see it in color.
You have to find something unique in the book which perhaps even the author was not entirely aware of, and that's what you hold on to and that's what you add to the pictures... a whole other story that you believe in... that you think is there. ~ Maurice Sendak

Oh the concentration, I remember seeing it in my own kids at a young age when the object of their attention was high in importance to them.
