Sometimes our efforts to save time end up costing us more!I had a few ideas for this weeks word, but this is the one I chose to illustrate. I am not completely happy with this, but most of my illos are experimental anyway, so I can't complain too much! I am still learning how to control the watercolor like I want it, especially when adding shadows to clothing. I tried to compensate with pencils, but not quite what I was after.
On to the next one! : )

Nice try with the watercolors Tom, they are very difficult to get used to, but looks like you're doing fine! This guy could be my husband - very appropriate, we haven't even gotten all our Christmas decorations down yet!

We just took ours down 2 weeks ago, but we still have wreaths on the doors! :P
Really nice piece- I'm battling with watercolours too!
In the UK we have an old superstition that you must take the decorations down on or before 6th Jan! (12 days after Christmas). I can relate to this accident - happens all to frequently in a house with 3 kids and too many toys!
